How do I restart my Hulu account with iTunes Store payment?

You can restart a canceled account
you have previously used through iTunes payment.
Have you signed up and used Hulu through iTunes payment?

  • Yes

  • You can restart your account on
    iPhone/iPad/iPod touch,
    Apple TV or PC.
    Which devices do you have now?

    • iPhone／iPad／iPod touch

    • You can restart your Hulu account with iTunes Store payment only if you sign in to the iOS device with your Apple ID, which you previously signed up Hulu.
      There are two ways to restart your account from iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
       
      Restarting your account through App Store
      1. Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
      2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
      3. Tap [View Apple ID] and sign in if prompted.
      4. Tap [Subscriptions].
      5. Select [￥1,050].
      6. Tap [Subscribe] to complete the process.
      7. When all the processes are complete, open the Hulu app. 
      8. Enter the e-mail address and password and select [Login].
        * If you cannot find Hulu in [Subscriptions], you may sign in to the iOS device with the Apple ID, which you never signed up Hulu before. 
        Please check Apple Website when you don't see the subscription that you're looking for.
       
      Restarting your account through Hulu App
      1. Open Hulu App.
      2. Enter your e-mail address and password and select [Login].
      3. Select [Settings] from the Home menu.
      4. Select [Restart subscription] from the Home menu.
      5. It requires your agreement to the privacy policy, Terms of Use and iTunes billing policy. Turn on the checkbox if you agree.
        * If you can't restart your Hulu account, please refer to the article: "error code 7202 You can not register with this email address. Please register with another email address." is shown.
       
      You can create a new account from the signup page, using a different e-mail address and payment method.

    • Apple TV

    • You can restart your account through Apple TV with the following steps:
      1. Open [Settings].
      2. Select [Users and Accounts].
      3. Select [(Your name)'s Account].
      4. Select [Subscriptions].
      5. Select [Hulu].
      6. Select [￥1,050] under [Options].
      7. When all the processes are complete, open the Hulu app. 
      8. Select [Login].
      9. Select [Login with this device].
      10. Select [Purchased through iTunes? Restore Purchase.].
      If you cannot find Hulu in [Manage Subscription], you can create a new account from the signup page, using a different e-mail address and payment method.

    • PC

    • To restart iTunes Store Payment, please follow the steps below:
      1. Start iTunes on your computer.
      2. Go to Account > View My Account.
      3. Enter the Apple ID password.
      4. To the right of Subscriptions, Click [Manage].
      5. Go to Hulu, Click [Edit].
      6. Select [￥1,050].
      7. Open Account page with a web browser (Log in if prompted, then choose your profile).
      8. Enter your password.
      9. Click [Yes] from restart instructions section.
      10. Open Account page.
      11. Select [Yes] when this message appears: If you cannot find Hulu in [Subscriptions], you can create a new account from the signup page, using a different e-mail address and payment method.

    • None of above

    • You can restart the Hulu account with the same Apple ID, that you have signed up. Please restart through iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV or iTunes (PC).
      If you do not have any of these devices, please sign up from the signup page with a different e-mail address and payment method.

  • You cannot restart your account with iTunes Store payment unless you have previously signed up through iTunes Store payment. If you wish to use iTunes Store Payment, please sign up with a different e-mail address from iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Apple TV.
